Yay I got all 3 treasures
if you do add more to the game I would recommend that you can upgrade the about of ladders you can hold
as after a while you cant spend your cash/money as fast as you get it
and make more levels,that get harder and harder ;)

V0.3 of Arthur's will run a lot faster(on older computers) ,I have made a few changes to how the game works
you should beable to get around 50-60 fps with V0.3
I will release V0.3 on the 6th of September
The Game is meant to run at 60 fps
I think your gfx card is the main problem that it is not running at 60 fps
What GFX card to you have?
Do you have Windows Xp/Vista or Mac OSX installed on that machine also?

Arthur's Adventures V0.2 is somewhat playable
you can travel around and collect stuff but there is no enemy to fight or wizards to talk to yet

Im have problems using Full screen with an Intel Q965/Q963,if I try the program quits
though if I use a window that is not full screen it works fine
I have tryed many different resolutions in full screen that the system can use for the desktop(Windows XP)
Im changing the version numbering and release times between betas
the time between releases will now be 2 weeks
I will now be working on the game a lot more than before

I tested it out and found the white and red ships work perfect though the green ship moves off screen then jumps around all over the place after a few seconds

After further testing it appears the problem was the Nvidia Driver
as after updating the Nvidia Driver I can now use 1280x800 or 1280x768 or 1280x720 in full screen mode :D
I will implement the option to choose the resolution that the game will use from 1280x800 or 1280x768 or 1280x720
How would I test too see what resolutions the game can use ,and use 1280x800 if possible if not use1280x768 if possible if not use 1280x720

yeh I tryed 1280x800 first that didnt work so I tryed 1280x768 and got the same results

both 1280x800 and 1280x768 work fine on my laptop though not on my desktop :(
I have been testing out the resolution 1280x768 in full screen
which works fine on my laptop which I bought about 8 months ago,though my desktop pc which is about 5 years old
cant run my game in 1280x768 though the pc itself does support 1280x768,when I try to run it on my desktop pc the screen goes all white.
any ideas why?

I wanted to have the option of ogg and mid sound ,and have the player choose which one they would like,as mid has that old school sound to it
Yeh will put a few NPC's into the game soon ,some that tell the player what to do,some that are shops and maybe a few others too.
I will probably make a mac version when Ive added/done a few more things such as
#weapons and magics you can use
#enemy's you can fight and kill
I will have hopefully added all the above in V0.013(September's Beta) or V0.014(October's Beta)
I have added the source code for V0.011
it should run on mac with only a few small changes

Yeh I agree it is only $100 to get a Shareware / Hobbyist License of FMOD, I will forget about OpenAL or SDL_Mixer

Gosu uses the following for Audio Library's as default on each platform
Windows - FMOD
Linux - SDL_mixer
Mac OSX - (Currently FMOD,though FMOD will soon be replaced with OpenAL)
Iphone - OpenAL
What are the chances that OpenAL or SDL mixer will be implementing into the windows version of gosu?
