Hey, I like the game. However could you possibly add new things such as different enemies, better weapons and maybe make the ships not die with one hit...

Hey, I saw Stageoids as the Project of the Day and decided to check it out. I was able to get it to work. I had to do was convert the sounds to .ogg since I'm on Linux, and from there it worked without a hitch. The music is great! Is it open source / public domain?

I looked at your webpage a little bit too (I assume it's yours). If it IS yours, then I just want to say that beekeeping is a very cool hobby, which requires great courage.

Hello ml, thank your for your kind words. I was unaware of the sound issues on linux, that will be fixed next update. The music was composed by me in GarageBand, feel free to use it, just credit ExplodingCookie. Yes the website is mine. Beekeeping is cool, and you get used to the bees after a bit. :)

Great to hear back. Based on your comments I will definitely be including the music (with appropriate attribution) in an upcoming project. I believe it about beekeeping being cool. I've always wanted to try it out - not actually setting up the panels - just to try visiting a beekeeping place and checking it out a bit. I have a vague memory from my childhood, when I think I might have once visited a place with some panels. But I wasn't able to get too close. I'd really like to be able to check out a queen bee's lair.
